During his many years as an instructor of voice, Mr. Norris often met students who did not have access to in-person private vocal lessons due to their geographic location and numerous other factors. While Mr. Norris feels that weekly in-person voice lessons are still the best manner for a student to make consistent forward progress, knowing that this is not always possible, with this online service, Mr. Norris is attempting to stand in the gap to meet the needs of these students until live in-person lessons become a feasible option for them.

With this new online offering, Mr. Norris shares short-term overview lessons (labeled sessions) to enhance a vocalist's understanding and development concerning numerous vocal concepts, especially those who do not readily have instruction. For some singers, this service can also be useful for those already in private lessons who desire additional training in specific technical areas (in conjunction with their current voice instructor or choir teacher). 

A general overview of just some of the possible offerings from which the student can choose would be: 

• Instruction in a wide variety of vocal technique concepts predicated on the desires, needs and experience level of the individual student. 
• Advice for high-level song presentation skills and suggestions for cultivating artistic (musical) singing.
• In-depth college audition preparation for classical Conservatory and Schools of Music vocal programs, including guidance in choosing, preparing, and development of the singer’s vocal literature.
• High School Solo and Ensemble preparation.
• Understanding and employing aspects of sound vocal and speaking health.

Mr. Norris would share that these vocal concepts, while being tailored first to the classical singer, can also be helpful to artists from other genres as well. Additionally, we feel that these online offerings might prove helpful for the instructor of voice or choral director who is seeking a few more ideas to impart to those vocalists under their tutelage.

Please note that these sessions with Mr. Norris are LIVE, ONE-ON-ONE, REAL-TIME ONLINE OFFERINGS.

Also possible are IN-PERSON master classes for school and church vocal ensembles, worship teams, etc. This service would NOT be a Zoom video session but rather presented live for the interested group.
