Once a starting session day and time with Mr. Norris is confirmed, a personalized meeting will be created, and you will then be able to purchase and sign up for your first session.

For each student completing both sessions 10 A and 10 B, Mr. Norris will offer a third, free session in which the student will present an online “mock” audition. 

About this Session

Session 10A – No prerequisites needed

In this session Mr. Norris draws upon his wealth of knowledge that seeks to enhance the initial stages of a student’s preparation for university and conservatory level programs in classical voice. In these presentations, Mr. Norris draws upon his extensive experience having prepared and guided hundreds of his private students through many thousands of successful auditions.

Contents:

  • Comparisons of College, University and Conservatory music program offerings. Strategies to select your proposed new school and vocal instructor. Discussions of early decision, double degree and dual enrollment programs.

Online Needs

To achieve all that is possible and to fully participate in these online sessions, the following will need to be provided by the prospective student:

  • A fully reliable internet connection.
  • The ability to use Zoom or Google Meet as the session medium. 
  • A computer or tablet for our session work. A cellular phone would work if that was what the student has at their disposal.
  • Also, while not mandatory, a printer would be a plus to print off session PDF study handouts.
